About The Role
- Monitoring and providing appropriate clinical care (medical and surgical) to patients.
- Examining and talking to patients to diagnose their medical conditions.
- Ensuring the highest standards in patient care are maintained.
- Verifying complex diagnoses and facilitating treatment plans.
- Ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations and safety standards.
- Reporting to the senior management, as well as liaising between administrative and medical staff.
- Ensuring consistent and accurate medical record-keeping practices.
- Maintaining patient rights and being aware of cultural differences when dealing with patients.
- Liaising with other medical and non-medical staff in the organization to ensure quality treatment as well as in research and design of services and product offerings.
- Performing corporate wellness screenings, medical camps/outreaches as well as doctor at home service.
- Reporting on-call (off shifts, weekends, and holidays) as scheduled.
- Performing administrative duties and risk management.
- Managing allocated budgets and identifying areas of improvement in patient care.
- Keeping informed on advancements in the field and contributing to medical research programs.
- Admitting patients requiring special care followed by investigations and treatment.
- Any other duties as may be assigned by your supervisor.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Medicine with 1 - 2 years of clinical experience.
- Possess current practicing license from the Kenya Medical Practitioners and Dentist Board.
- Clinical risk management experience.
- Valid indemnity cover.
- Extensive knowledge of digital medical recordkeeping practices.
- Tech-savvy and ability to quickly master the use of digital solutions such as Google Suite, Microsoft Office amongst others.
- Advanced ability to ensure the highest standards in patient care and compliance with healthcare regulations.
- Ability to keep abreast of advancements in the field of specialization.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and leadership skills.
- The ability to communicate fluently in French, both verbally and in writing would be an added advantage.
- The ideal candidate should possess a valid international passport, have a liking for traveling, and demonstrate a keen interest in digital health and new developments in Digital Health.
