Job Description:
Reporting to the Hospital Manager and with matrix reporting to the Diagnostics Services Manager, this position is responsible for planning, organizing and coordinating the laboratory team within the hospital unit. The job holder will superintend the branch laboratory and will ensure high quality and continuity of services rendered, achievement of budget targets, stock control including daily reconciliation and accounting for stock variations, rota management and excellent customer service. This position is currently open at our Kitengela branch and the job holder will also superintend the unit laboratory.
Qualifications:
- Applicants must be in possession of a Degree &/Diploma in Medical Laboratory Sciences with valid licensing with KMLTTB.
- The position requires active knowledge of management of laboratory services, quality standards , HMIS and experience in people management and achievement customer service.
- The successful candidate must have a minimum of 6 years cumulative experience in a busy hospital environment with 1 to 3 years supervisory experience.
